Volunteering Activities

At the heart of Seva’s goal lies its belief in the power of community building. We recognise the invaluable contributions of every Seva beneficiary, ranging from varied backgrounds. One of the volunteers’ remarkable initiatives involves working closely with communities within SGNP, aiding them in painting diyas and other crafts. 

Volunteers enthusiastically engage with the tribal women, providing them with a space to relax and express their creativity. Through these interactions, not only are the women able to find solace and tranquilly in their art, but they also gain a sense of empowerment and pride as their crafts reach consumers. 

By bringing together youth and elders, Seva nurtures a beautiful exchange of wisdom and experiences. The beneficiaries, with their profound knowledge, mentor the youth, while the young volunteers bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to the table. 

Through this volunteerism, a harmonious link is established between consumers and craftspeople that transcends transactions, transforming them into meaningful connections and mutual respect. 

In essence, as we continue to paint the canvas of change, we also serve as an inspiring reminder of the difference one can make when driven by a true sense of purpose and a spirit of unity, all for flawless coordination between humans and nature.
